This is a funny ambulance accident. This was some police swat officers rushing someone over to an ambulance while the ambulance was backing up to meet them. A great example of why to slow down. Maybe the Key Stone Cops lol

This was sent to me for posting. A fire truck (Green Pond Fire unit 601) was responding to a call with three other trucks, truck 601 was the 2nd in line, truck 25 was 1st. The 1st two trucks were close together, and the third was off in the distance. Truck 601 over turns and traps the driver. Fortunately he had a seat belt on which saved his life. This starts off with the recording of the 911 call from a witness to the accident. You can then listen to the incident unfold as you hear all the radio transmissions of the responding units to, and then, on scene. You'll also hear the 1st unit, truck 25, tell the 911 radio dispatcher over the radio that 601 is no longer behind him as he tries to get 601 on the radio, no answer. I just can't imagine that feeling...... The siren you hear in the background while the witness is on the phone with the 911 operator is that of unit 601. On Route 22 east bound, in morning rush hour traffic on Feb 18th 2008, a tractor trailer driver not paying attention drives into stopped traffic and takes out 5 cars / SUV's and an Emergency Service Patrol vehicle from PennDOT. The PennDOT truck is used to assist at accident scenes and clear the highway to keep traffic flowing. It's also used to help out stranded motorist with flats, break downs and what not. The accident occurred between the Cedar Crest Blvd and 15th Street exits. Fortunately, no one was killed in the crash that closed the East bound lanes for over 3 hours. Ladder 1 venting the roof at a working fire in a 2.5 story wood frame in Paterson NJ. They were then ordered off the roof by the Safety Officer as they finished venting and heavy fire and heat blew through the vent hole they just cut. Safety saw the exterior wall above the 2nd floor center window starting to burn through, hence the order to come on down. The fire you see near the eves is actually some of the discarded roofing material from the hole that slid down into the gutter and was burning. Eventually fire does burn through the 2nd floor bedroom exterior wall. Text book work by both firefighter's and the Safety Officer.

This is a must see video put out by the Montana Dept of transportation. Its called: "Room To Live". Show this to your family and friends, there are some great lessons to be learned here. So pass it on to those you care about. If we can save just one life, it will be worth the effort. Maybe that life saved will be someone you love.

These are raw photos of a 3 a.m. fire in Bushkill Township that tore through 3 businesses this morning. The location was Route 512 and Bushkill Center Road in Bushkill Township PA. Lost were an Ace Hardware Store a Bank and a Gas Station Convenience store. When crews arrived on scene within minutes of alarm the fire was already raging through the roof. More than 12 departments arrived to fight the fire including the Northampton County Tanker Task Force which supplied water to the firefighters. With outside temperatures nearing 100 today EMS crews were kept busy checking on the fire fighters. The cause of the fire is still unknown however the scene has been turned over to the State Fire Marshal.
