Description
This was sent to me for posting. A fire truck (Green Pond Fire unit 601) was responding to a call with three other trucks, truck 601 was the 2nd in line, truck 25 was 1st. The 1st two trucks were close together, and the third was off in the distance. Truck 601 over turns and traps the driver. Fortunately he had a seat belt on which saved his life. This starts off with the recording of the 911 call from a witness to the accident. You can then listen to the incident unfold as you hear all the radio transmissions of the responding units to, and then, on scene. You'll also hear the 1st unit, truck 25, tell the 911 radio dispatcher over the radio that 601 is no longer behind him as he tries to get 601 on the radio, no answer. I just can't imagine that feeling...... The siren you hear in the background while the witness is on the phone with the 911 operator is that of unit 601.
